Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Catllar. The wings were the focus of most of botafumeiru's attacks today. Catllar's J. Spale tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. 33 minutes into the game, Catllar had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to passable. botafumeiru had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. botafumeiru's P. Vilardebò managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 35 minutes. 0 - 1. After 36 minutes, botafumeiru's H. við Misá burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. 38 minutes in, Catllar's S. Filewicz received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. S. Filewicz's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. 44 minutes into the game Catllar managed a counterattack, but K. A review of the gameplan helped Catllar get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. Content with how the game was proceeding, the botafumeiru coach let A. Castellblanch replace N. Bessems after 50 minutes. 50 minutes in, Catllar appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. Clever play that showed his experience gave N. Desplans a good chance to score, but the shot hit the crossbar. Catllar's counterattacks created a good chance for M. Vrba on the right after 56 minutes, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. A misunderstanding between the visitors' keeper M. Haddad and his left defence could have resulted in a goal for Catllar, but Á. Puente's finish was way too lame. The visitors nearly scored again after 72 minutes, but a superb save by O. Bataglin kept H. við Misá's free kick out of the net. Catllar needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 75 minutes M. Vrba made way for E. El-Shadi. botafumeiru increased their lead after 76 minutes when H. við Misá broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. After 77 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave P. Vilardebò a chance to increase the lead for botafumeiru, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 4. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by botafumeiru, with 64 percent of the ball.

Most important Catllar player was M. Hammemi. E. El-Shadi on the other hand, had a terrible day. R. Sota performed admirably for botafumeiru. D. Polls turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 4.
