Dark skies made the crowd of 54713 at Comptroller's Keep a little nervous, but the rain held off. Laurens Notenboom was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Markus Varma and Adolfino Yustrich. Ampersand started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when A. Dimitrov slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against T. Piontek, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. The visiting M. That Bævle's R. Rump has the ability of doing what no one expects him to do was shown as he ran over an opposing defender, snatched the ball and passed to B. By now, the players in Bævle felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Å. Koefoed of Bævle was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. It was 0 - 2 at the break. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.

After 70 minutes, Ampersand switched L. Wyes with E. Borre, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. Ampersand needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 75 minutes E. Rosenbæk made way for K. Lassen. Ampersand's J. Troonbeeckx had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 76 minutes having been played. B. Dirbanauskas was the replacement. The visitors' B. Rönnlius took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 82 minutes into the match. 0 - 3 for Bævle. Unsportsmanlike behaviour by Å. Koefoed rendered him his second booking of the match, and Bævle had to finish the game with a reduced squad. Possession in this half belonged to Ampersand, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

The most dominating Ampersand player was without a doubt A. Holst. I. Lavi was a disappointment, however. Bævle's top performer was clearly B. Rönnlius. V. Puliga turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 3.
