Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Suden, with 53 percent of the ball.

Y. van Hulst made a good effort at breaking through on the right, but the home team's left defence cleared the ball to a corner. After 72 minutes, Suden sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached R. Puşcău, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 2 - 0. The swift technical skills of A. Giacoma were often too much for the tall but somewhat slow A. Overbeek who was humiliated after 74 minutes. He'll be breathing a huge sigh of relief after the final shot went wide. S. Kalchbauer should probably have put his team up another goal after 76 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by J. Sá Machado kept the visitors in the game. A. Giacoma of Suden received a yellow card after 79 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Possession in this half belonged to Suden, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

The most dominating Suden player was without a doubt R. Puşcău. G. De Craecker was a disappointment, however. kickers's best player was T. Forsius. J. Fuchs turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 0.
