The Odysseus free kick 31 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of A. The boggy pitch disrupted the game, especially for technical players like H. Kumutat. After a fatal mistake from the away team's right side defence 67 minutes into the match, an alert H. van den Hoven bagged the ball for Odysseus, levelling the score to 2 - 2. Odysseus fans held their breath as I. Spreeuwenberg scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 3 - 2! The crowd was silenced 73 minutes into the match as the visiting team's I. Goldbeck came in from the left, levelling the score to 3 - 3. 81 minutes into the match and the home team took a 4 - 3 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Odysseus was N. I. Spreeuwenberg performed admirably for Odysseus. H. Ellmerer on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Goudvissen player was without a doubt D. Stempel. H. Kumutat turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 3.
