(393434328)

25-07-2012 10.45
The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 3479 had shown up at
Schützenwiese for the match.
Jean-Luc Plantier-Royon was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Flurin Kähr and
Kameron Martin.
Prassat had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
The following players had been chosen: Goszcz - Del Real, Aranguren, Valera Murcia - Gasparin, Detrait, Naze, Onori, Klapiš - Chmielowski, Banaszyński.
GA started off with a 3-4-3 lineup.
The following players took the field: Fredriksen - Falch, Pfeifer, Fjørtoft - Kanestrøm, Huseklepp, Grytebust, Berg - Olsen, Figenschoug, Chiquet.
The wings were the focus of most of GA's attacks today.
Prassat took the lead after 14 minutes as a result of
Ľ. Klapiš's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0.
The Prassat free kick 22 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of
V. Naze, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 2 - 0!
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Prassat to 3 - 0 as
E. Aranguren finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle.
Prassat's
J. Chmielowski got himself booked for a foul.
After 41 minutes,
A. Del Real put Prassat ahead 4 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing.
Cheers filled the stadium as
K. Banaszyński broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 5 - 0 to Prassat.
By now, the players in Prassat felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
There was concern in the stands when, at the 43 minute mark, GA's
P. Olsen hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch.
The teams went for the halftime break at 5 - 0.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Prassat, with 80 percent of the ball.
After 60 minutes, GA switched
P. Olsen with
J. Christophersen, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch.
With 60 minutes played, the GA coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around.
T. Angell came on,
N. Figenschoug had to leave the fray.
The bench was restless, and with 60 minutes passed GA's coach gave
R. Aure the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
A. Chiquet reluctantly left the field.
K. Banaszyński could have put Prassat up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 70 minutes.
A great save by keeper
H. Fredriksen after 73 minutes kept the visitors in the game after
J. Detrait struck from the left with a real cannonball.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
E. Onori squirmed through their central defence after 74 minutes, increasing the lead to 6 - 0.
Prassat solidified their lead at the 75 minute mark, as
Ľ. Klapiš dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 7 - 0.
After 84 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
K. Banaszyński gave the Prassat supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 8 - 0.
Possession in this half belonged to Prassat, who controlled the ball 82 percent of the time.
L. Gasparin performed admirably for Prassat.
E. Aranguren was a disappointment, however.
Most important GA player was
R. Aure.
H. Fredriksen on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 8 - 0.
