The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to G. Bolland, but the Hippocratica player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! 15 minutes into the game, E. Maccarrone had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came R. Eygel. 17 minutes into the match F. Schieritz put Hippocratica ahead 2 - 0 with a truly marvelous free kick. With 27 minutes gone, Hippocratica had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, R. Eygel did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Hippocratica's V. Steri increasing the lead to 3 - 0. After 31 minutes, R. Eygel put Hippocratica ahead 4 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. 4 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Hippocratica, with 58 percent of the ball.

The Hippocratica players could smell victory in the air. A. Tuncis wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for L. Frühwald after 46 minutes. The Hippocratica captaincy was handed to D. Urvoy. G. Bolland left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 46 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. T. Gaspari was the replacement. It was obvious that team Hippocratica had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. L. Frühwald could have increased the lead after 50 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Cheers filled the stadium as L. Frühwald broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 5 - 0 to Hippocratica. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Hippocratica lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Hippocratica's L. Frühwald increased the lead to 6 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 61 minutes. With 70 minutes of the game having been played, V. Steri received a blow to the hip in a collision and was unable to continue. Hippocratica, with no available replacements, now faced the prospect of finishing the game with a reduced number of players. One of many good crosses from A. Egin on the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by T. Ingelstål, who scored for Grifidori. 6 - 1 R. Rieris was called on to replace Grifidori's A. Uccellini after 81 minutes following a nasty collision. Hippocratica enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

The most dominating Hippocratica player was without a doubt L. Frühwald. D. Urvoy was a disappointment, however. Grifidori's best player was R. Rieris. On the other hand, A. Pedrayes's play was disheartening. The match ends 6 - 1.
