2423 fans braved the pouring rain at Hus. Helge Olsen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Maxín Maribona and Wilhelm Pfeilitzer. ODL showed off their creative tactics. B. Utterén's speed is always a threat when he gets a little room to move, and 26 minutes into the match was no different as he broke free of his man to send a delightful through ball to O. Indergård who knocked it in for Lapskaus. 1 - 0! Lapskaus solidified their lead at the 33 minute mark, as R. Fosse dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0. 35 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as R. Fosse broke through, making the score 3 - 0 for Lapskaus. 41 minutes in, ODL's S. Silva Parreira received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. J. Lorentzen could have increased the lead after 42 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. P. Kjølner behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 43 minutes as he gave the ball away to Ó. Cenarruza. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Lapskaus's R. Fosse increasing the lead to 4 - 0. By then R. Fosse had scored three goals - a hat trick! Lapskaus's R. Fosse saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 44 minutes. Halftime score was 4 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Lapskaus, with 78 percent of the ball.

After 49 minutes, ODL switched P. Zygulski with R. Berentsen, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. Lapskaus's B. Utterén swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. R. Cierniewski of Lapskaus seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 5 - 0 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by B. Utterén. The players of Lapskaus now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. It was a bad day for the usually speedy M. Kanclerz. The mud seemed to slow him down. Lapskaus put themselves up 6 - 0 when K. Bredal broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. J. Waltoś of ODL received a yellow card after 76 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. With 77 minutes played, Lapskaus put themselves up 7 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to T. Kopperud, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Possession in this half belonged to Lapskaus, who controlled the ball 83 percent of the time.

Most important Lapskaus player was B. Utterén. On the other hand, K. Tvedt's play was disheartening. ODL's top performer was clearly E. Roark. However, E. Semochko made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 7 - 0.
