With 31 minutes played, ORAMA's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to V. Konsulov he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 2 - 1. AnkhMorpork's L. Donaghy saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 33 minutes. 2 - 1 was the halftime score. AnkhMorpork claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.

After 52 minutes, the defensive line of ORAMA created a counterattack through the middle that gave L. Castro Lima a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. ORAMA made it 2 - 2 as L. Josefsson got a touch to the floated corner kick and flicked the ball to P. Afentakis who whipped a low drive in off the far post. AnkhMorpork had a good opportunity to take the lead as S. Teodorescu came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of A. Håkansson. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by AnkhMorpork, with 64 percent of the ball.

AnkhMorpork's best player was T. Lokianskas. S. Teodorescu was a disappointment, however. The most dominating ORAMA player was without a doubt P. Andersson. On the other hand, V. Konsulov's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 2.
