Gonçalves Machado was able to even the score after 9 minutes to make the score 1 - 1. S.C.BARREIROS took the lead after 20 minutes as a result of S. Ganca's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 2 - 1. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by S.C.BARREIROS, with 66 percent of the ball.

S.C.BARREIROS were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. F. Bosco could have increased the lead after 57 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. S.C.BARREIROS put in a good effort on the right, but H. Lopes Ramos saw his volley fly wide of the mark 81 minutes into the game. J. Kaulmann was first to reach a ball launched long through the center from Moinhos's defence 83 minutes into the game. He managed to keep his cool and beat the goalkeeper to make the score 2 - 2. As C. Guénard had, completely unprovoked, swept the legs out from under an opponent in front of a linesman, the referee gave the Moinhos player a red card without batting an eyelid. The referee showed Moinhos's M. Gladis the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. S.C.BARREIROS broke through on the left 87 minutes into the game, with T. Tündik firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 3 - 2 lead. S.C.BARREIROS enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 66 percent of possession.

S.C.BARREIROS's best player was B. Gonçalves Machado. On the other hand, T. Tündik's play was disheartening. M. Bensoussan performed admirably for Moinhos. F. De Marzi was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 2.
