With 49 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, L. Vecino Capitán needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. Due to some great work on the right wing Luaña's Ó. Reguero Manjón was able to even the score after 58 minutes to make the score 1 - 1. Team claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.
