Due to an all-day shower, 3027 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Great Rakko Arena. Luca Brambati was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Todd Lomu and Dino van der Valk. TSE_Rakko decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. TSE_Rakko clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. A well placed corner kick from F. Brüngger was followed by R. Galdocha's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for TSE_Rakko, the score now 1 - 0. Cheers filled the stadium as B. Herrler broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to TSE_Rakko. TSE_Rakko's G. Ruchlewicz showed his experience, anticipating the outcome of the opponent's defensive clearance and positioning himself perfectly to volley in an unstoppable shot from the edge of the box. 3 - 0. R. Langeveld could've grabbed a goal for Hansaplast 38 minutes in when he got a pass from the left putting him free of the home side's defence, but he was unable to take advantage of the situation. R. Galdocha could have put TSE_Rakko up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 40 minutes. The cannonball from 35 metres by F. Brüngger of TSE_Rakko was an impressive sight, but didn't make it into the net. The referee showed TSE_Rakko's J. Juárez the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 3 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to TSE_Rakko, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

Coming in from the right, Hansaplast had a good opportunity to convert on a counterattack after 55 minutes, but C. Silverentand's attempt to finish was easily stopped. TSE_Rakko put in a good effort on the right, but R. Galdocha saw his volley fly wide of the mark 69 minutes into the game. 72 minutes into the game, Hansaplast's attack got through on the right, but A. Herruzo couldn't handle the ball and his feeble kick wound up in the keeper's arms. R. Galdocha has acquired a talent for predicting the movements of the opposing defence over the years and this almost resulted in a goal 85 minutes into the match. A bit later, Hansaplast's A. Arends easily reduced the lead to 3 - 1 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence. The home side's K. Kaysel came close to extending the lead 87 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but P. Cynker managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. Hansaplast fought on and, after 88 minutes, C. Silverentand was able to reduce the deficit to 3 - 2 after some excellent moves on the right side were finished off with an incredibly clever chip. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Hansaplast, with 55 percent of the ball.

Most important TSE_Rakko player was R. Galdocha. However, G. Tafani made a disastrous appearance. K. Slavec performed admirably for Hansaplast. P. Cynker on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 2.
