With 41 minutes gone, BOJANELA had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, A. Cœuret did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. 1 - 0 was the score after the first half. BOJANELA enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 69 percent of possession.

The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that FCCNB had solid organisation. A. Santos Raposo was struggling to make the ball dance with his usual trickery and panache, and the opposing players had little trouble shutting him down in these muddy conditions. Z. P. Binnekamp performed admirably for BOJANELA. On the other hand, S. Iacoviello's play was disheartening. Most important FCCNB player was Z. Mäsiar. K. Ebrahimi turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 1.
