Waalwijk the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 26 minutes into the game, S. Zora had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came L. Séguret. Given a free kick close to the byline, EQUIPE tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let J. Sepúlveda slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 3 - 0, 31 minutes into the game. Y. Atayev's curling free kick almost found the goal for EQUIPE, but the visitors' keeper somehow managed to get ahold of it. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to EQUIPE, who controlled the ball 65 percent of the time.

After 63 minutes, M. Symes put EQUIPE ahead 4 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. It might be a while before the fans see EQUIPE's G. Boekweg again, after he had to leave the field in great distress at the 67 minute mark. He was replaced by M. Schäfler. EQUIPE put themselves up 5 - 0 when M. Schäfler broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. EQUIPE increased the lead as L. Séguret struck to make the score 6 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Olympique's C. Codrea was shown a yellow card after 77 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The player down was K. Waalwijk. The EQUIPE bench looked worried for a while, but in the end he managed to get up. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in EQUIPE's V. Guzmán increasing the lead to 7 - 0. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave G. Garabedian from Olympique a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 81 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! M. Dziurkowski of Olympique received a yellow card after 84 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. With 85 minutes played, EQUIPE put themselves up 8 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to J. Megaw, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by EQUIPE, with 67 percent of the ball.
