Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 1682 to UF Arena. Jyri Ruonakangas was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Frederik Vammen and Alois Rechner. After 12 minutes, J. Calderón came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Uf the lead. Uf's M. Victorero left the field after 13 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was A. Martar. J. Roca was the new captain of Uf - handed the armband by the departing player. Uf's R. Verdugo saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 21 minutes. With 25 minutes played, R. Verdugo could have brought this one home for Uf as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Razortails almost scored after a counterattack 26 minutes into the match, but T. Ståhlgård took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. 35 minutes in, Uf's F. Vaina received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Uf put in a good effort on the right, but R. Depasquale saw his volley fly wide of the mark 36 minutes into the game. Halftime score was 1 - 0. Uf claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

The Uf players could smell victory in the air. M. Sonko wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for A. Scanzi after 46 minutes. Coming from the right, S. Boldrin almost managed to score another goal for Uf, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. J. Gurbisz of Razortails received a yellow card after 53 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Razortails's F. Tranhult was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 53 minutes. R. Depasquale wanted to play on, but the Uf coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 66 minutes into the game by P. Götz. Razortails's T. Ståhlgård skillfully knocked a pass over the top after 72 minutes, and that was received by L. Stensson who just managed to slot it past the opposing goalkeeper for 1 - 1. P. Götz of Uf was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The home side put themselves ahead 2 - 1 after 79 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from A. Scanzi, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. Possession in this half belonged to Uf, who controlled the ball 63 percent of the time.

The most dominating Uf player was without a doubt A. Scanzi. However, J. Roca made a disastrous appearance. Most important Razortails player was C. Bande. M. Rönnhall turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 1.
