Pallon clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. Pallon almost scored after a counterattack 6 minutes into the match, but M. Jendryczko took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, D. Dach got himself booked. The manager of Pallon was not happy. Pallon's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack with 19 minutes gone, but D. Dach's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper. P. Cocilovo of Pallon was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Pallon's R. Galejs-Dravnieks was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - P. Cocilovo managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 0 - 1 after 27 minutes. 30 minutes into the game, Pallon seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to inadequate. It was 0 - 1 at the break. juventude2005 claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 72 percent.

The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that Pallon had solid organisation. After 55 minutes of play, B. Riva evened things up for juventude2005 with an impressive goal coming up the middle. 1 - 1. P. Cocilovo would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. G. Bertaccini entered the game for Pallon as the match clock showed 65 minutes. After 75 minutes, the Pallon coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving M. Heuer off the field. J. Tornatore took his place. Pallon's R. Galejs-Dravnieks was shown a yellow card after 77 minutes for slicing down an opponent. It was a bad day for the usually speedy J. Tornatore. The mud seemed to slow him down. juventude2005 were very close to putting themselves one up after 83 minutes as E. Michieli got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. As the 85 minute mark approached, the Pallon coach decided it was time for a substitution. B. Julien reluctantly made way for C. Fisichella on the pitch. With 85 minutes played, Pallon's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to D. Ziejewski he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 1 - 2. With 86 minutes played, juventude2005's S. Semeghini found an opening in the visitors' left side defence, but his shot was handled easily by the keeper. juventude2005 enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 63 percent of possession.

juventude2005's best player was B. Tissier. Q. Bistocchi turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Pallon player was G. Bertaccini. However, M. Hoti made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 2.
