By now, the players in Confiteor felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Á. Honorato of Confiteor was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. G. Coenen tried to get a goal back for Mangericos but despite all his hard work down the right, he just couldn't complete the move. It was obvious that Mangericos had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. Mangericos had a brilliant opportunity to reply as M. Soares Azevedo received a high ball from the right, striking the ball in the air. Only D. Fronk's reflexes saved him. 44 minutes into the game Mangericos broke through on the left wing and S. de Carvalho managed to reduce the lead to 1 - 2. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 2. Mangericos claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.

67 minutes into the game, Confiteor seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a weak level of organisation. Mangericos's A. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to T. Halász, but the Mangericos player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 3 - 2! The home side's L. Alto came close to extending the lead 84 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but D. Fronk managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Mangericos, with 67 percent of the ball.

Most important Mangericos player was G. Coenen. On the other hand, D. Patrício's play was disheartening. Á. Honorato performed admirably for Confiteor. F. Walschap on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 2.
