Dark skies made the crowd of 1074 at ZAIDAN HD a little nervous, but the rain held off. Kim Kiener was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Augustus Euverman and Erik Kristiansen. LaperPol started off with a 4-3-3 lineup. They fielded: Moyetón - Devira, Terramoccia, Ilurdoz, Uçuk - Junior, Batola, Wetoszka - Dhani, Darsono, Sanguino.

LaperPol clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. After 10 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as LaperPol found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to solid. The Zamrud free kick 26 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of K. Bobić, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 1 - 0! 30 minutes in, LaperPol appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. J. Brusila increased Zamrud's lead to 2 - 0 with a penalty spot cannonball. Almost all the way down to the corner flag, LaperPol's J. Junior somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for U. Dhani, who struck for 2 - 1. With 41 minutes played, Zamrud put themselves up 3 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to T. Ngadiman, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. The head of E. Terramoccia connected with a corner kick after 44 minutes, and the ball ended up with J. Junior of LaperPol who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 3 - 2. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. S. Sanjaya squirmed through their central defence after 44 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 2. 4 - 2 was the score after the first half. Zamrud claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 76 percent.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of LaperPol was able to get his message across, and raised LaperPol's organisation to solid. With 84 minutes played, F. Bowo could have brought this one home for Zamrud as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. LaperPol's J. Junior got himself booked for a foul. 86 minutes into the game, LaperPol had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to solid. The score became 5 - 2 at 87 minutes into the game, when Zamrud were given a penalty which J. Brusila blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! By now, the players in Zamrud felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. 88 minutes in, an amazing pass from the left side resulted in a goal for the visitors, as J. Junior anticipated the through ball and scored, reducing the deficit to 5 - 3. Zamrud will have to do without K. Bobić for a time, due to a bad foot injury at the 89 minute mark. He was substituted by M. Stekla. 89 minutes into the game, LaperPol seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to passable. Zamrud enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 71 percent of possession.

Zamrud's top performer was clearly M. Gödens. On the other hand, O. Bäckroos's play was disheartening. LaperPol's best player was U. Dhani. M. Ilurdoz was a disappointment, however. The match ends 5 - 3.
