Clouds darkened the skies at
Hell's Bells as 1505 spectators turned up for the match.
Björn Martinsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Christian Weingartner and
Evaristo Laspada.
A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Marduk.

Olympic started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.

Marduk mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle.
T. Fichtner of Marduk displayed some of his fantastic technical abilities when he brought the ball down neatly using his instep before nutmegging the bewildered
A. Preś and smashing an unstoppable shot past the goalkeeper to make it 1 - 0.
The head of
Z. Cybruch connected with a corner kick after 13 minutes, and the ball ended up with
H. á Hálsi of Olympic who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 1 - 1.
The terraces were silenced after 18 minutes when Olympic's
Ç. Peker put the guests ahead 1 - 2, following an attack on the right.
V. Sivek of Olympic took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 21 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 1 - 3.
35 minutes into the game a free kick by
N. Simões found its way through the home side's poorly assembled defensive formation, making Olympic's lead 1 - 4.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Olympic lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
It was 1 - 4 at the break.
Olympic enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 65 percent of possession.
Marduk's
M. Olmos managed a superb strike from the left after 66 minutes that would have left goalkeeper
W. Gironde without a chance, had it not hit the post.
68 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 5 as
Z. Cybruch finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick.
H. á Hálsi of Olympic received a yellow card after 72 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
A superb free kick by Marduk's
T. Fichtner after 78 minutes looked like it'd reduced the lead after it hit the underside of the bar and bounced down over the line, but to the fury of the home crowd the linesman missed it - no goal!
H. Virgilio was called on to replace Marduk's
T. Smažík after 87 minutes following a nasty collision.
Some fine movement on the left led to a Olympic goal after 89 minutes, making it 1 - 6.
Ç. Peker was noted down as the scorer.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Olympic, with 65 percent of the ball.
Marduk's best player was
H. Virgilio.
K. Červený was a disappointment, however.
Most important Olympic player was
M. Leocadia.
V. Sivek turned in a dismal performance, however.
