With 22 minutes played, F. Martinsen of Traktor fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. R. Toxo squirmed through their central defence after 25 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 1. The visitors replied 26 minutes into the game, reducing the home side's lead to 3 - 2, as I. Verwij dashed up the middle, easily lobbing the ball over the home team's keeper. F. Azcarate could have increased the lead after 29 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. 3 - 2 was the halftime score. Traktor had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

It might be a while before the fans see Traktor's D. Llaneras again, after he had to leave the field in great distress at the 49 minute mark. He was replaced by N. Espírito Santo. Traktor's F. Efe saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 73 minutes. After 74 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by Traktor was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options. Possession in this half belonged to Traktor, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

Most important Traktor player was N. Espírito Santo. T. Kenéz turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating FC Godhe player was without a doubt J. Adelwald. A. Cuadrado was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 2.
