A 4-5-1 alignment was the formation of choice for Spinut. They fielded: Coomans - Greger, Goldsteen, Pahljina, Lazanja - Aubert, Anthony, Kroner, Sáez, Abela - Roso.

ShDc tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. The following players took the field: Ilina - Jacob, Sambay, Latifi, Ibn-Gibril - Olkuski, Eristin, Valkamo, Abolafio Martínez - Bunescu, Combee.

28 minutes in, ShDc's G. Olkuski received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. A loud groan was heard from the fans of Spinut, as O. Aubert left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. T. Niebes took his place on the field. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, B. Greger got himself booked. Spinut claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.

The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that ShDc had solid organisation. 49 minutes in, ShDc appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only solid. With 61 minutes played, C. Bunescu of ShDc fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. L. Combee showed why he is feared on the counterattack, breaking through in the middle and scoring for ShDc after 66 minutes to make the score 1 - 1. G. Jacob knocked one home from a counterattack down the right wing, making the score 1 - 2 after 73 minutes. Content with how the game was proceeding, the ShDc coach let D. Matsson replace V. Abolafio Martínez after 75 minutes. After 75 minutes, R. Eristin sent the corner kick right to T. Sambay who headed it sharply past the keeper. 1 - 3! H. Anthony's lack of experience almost gave ShDc a goal after 78 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. S. Latifi wanted to play on, but the ShDc coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 80 minutes into the game by A. Cardoso. Spinut enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

Spinut's best player was W. Kroner. E. Coomans turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important ShDc player was T. Sambay. B. Ilina on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 3.
