Clear skies welcomed the 1532 spectators who had made their way to UASG Arena. Cenan Dulinski was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Yann Kranz and Thomas Frostenerberg. _BF_ decided to use a 3-4-3 set up. The following players took the field: Bichel - Naydov, Zaharinov, Petrov - Hristoforov, Anderssen, Pisanov, Timov - Grigorov, Toromanov, Mladenov.

Oreljak had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Lineup: Taskov - Luca, Kamenetskiy, Tzankov - Hristanov, Docu, Morozzi, Popov, Nikolov - Amaral, Rigollet.

After 14 minutes, A. Naydov came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving _BF_ the lead. After 18 minutes, M. Mladenov put _BF_ ahead 2 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. As P. Hristanov had, completely unprovoked, swept the legs out from under an opponent in front of a linesman, the referee gave the Oreljak player a red card without batting an eyelid. Unfortunately for _BF_, R. Anderssen was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. A. Grau replaced him. The _BF_ captaincy was handed to I. Petrov. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0. Oreljak claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

I. Timov wanted to play on, but the _BF_ coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 54 minutes into the game by S. Savov. Cheers filled the stadium as M. Mladenov broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 0 to _BF_. The players of _BF_ now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. With 78 minutes played, _BF_ put themselves up 4 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to A. Toromanov, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. The referee showed Oreljak's A. Tzankov the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. There was no way _BF_'s M. Mladenov could continue to play after this, and no replacements were available! _BF_ solidified their lead at the 87 minute mark, as A. Toromanov dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 5 - 0. The home side's G. Zaharinov came close to extending the lead 88 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but V. Taskov managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. Oreljak enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

The most dominating _BF_ player was without a doubt A. Toromanov. On the other hand, A. Grau's play was disheartening. Oreljak's top performer was clearly M. Morozzi. N. Kamenetskiy turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 5 - 0.
