Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 50000 at Coliseum Gloria today. Julien Lozach was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Luca Ciobãnescu and Steffen Polansky. Fogelquist, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. The referee showed Gardier's V. Carrau the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Halftime score was 2 - 0. Serki enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.

The visitors got a chance to pulling one back after 61 minutes, due to a defensive blunder leaving G. Rosales completely unmarked. His strike was pathetic though, easy prey for the home side's keeper. Serki's R. Sabia swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. After 63 minutes, Gardier switched S. Barreiro with J. Valderrábano, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. With 65 minutes played, the Gardier coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. D. Cano came on, C. Garcia had to leave the fray. The Gardier captaincy was handed to D. Cano. Serki's M. Zapletal was shown a yellow card after 70 minutes for slicing down an opponent. 78 minutes in, J. Valderrábano made an incredible run up the middle and nearly reduced the home side's lead, but S. Gudmundsen refused to let the ball slip by him. A great save by keeper P. Bolo after 79 minutes kept the visitors in the game after E. Cantos struck from the left with a real cannonball. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Serki, with 56 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Serki player was without a doubt E. Cantos. However, J. Tucci made a disastrous appearance. Most important Gardier player was P. Bolo. D. González Carbonera was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 0.
