Miramunt who headed it sharply past the keeper. 0 - 1! Rayo's J. Senosiaín made a successful breakthrough on the left after 43 minutes and should have levelled the score, but instead he clipped it over the bar. Halftime score was 0 - 1. Epsilon enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

With 71 minutes played, Rayo's P. Villaseca found an opening in the visitors' left side defence, but his shot was handled easily by the keeper. With 86 minutes played, the Rayo coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. M. Tallado came on, J. Senosiaín had to leave the fray. Possession in this half belonged to Epsilon, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

Most important Rayo player was J. Olivares Ponte. P. Gasol was a disappointment, however. Epsilon's best player was S. Shaybani. However, H. Dybdahl made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 1.
