Julien was, after 17 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper G. Butterhoff made the save. Mvv58's F. Kat got himself booked for a foul. The home team's supporters got excited again when C. Forciniti broke through the visitors' central defence and caught their keeper off guard, making it 1 - 2. With 24 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed B. Calbijo of Schwalbe to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 1 - 3. With 28 minutes played, F. Klimeck nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. Mvv58 refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle, C. Forciniti managed to slip the ball home for 2 - 3. Halftime score was 2 - 3. Schwalbe had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

M. Kultalahti of Mvv58 received a yellow card after 55 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. C. Julien received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 68 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 2 - 4. The Schwalbe fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. 71 minutes into the game a free kick by R. Eedema found its way through the home side's poorly assembled defensive formation, making Schwalbe's lead 2 - 5. After 77 minutes, Schwalbe's C. Julien burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 2 - 6. By then C. Julien had scored three goals - a hat trick! Schwalbe enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

C. Forciniti performed admirably for Mvv58. G. Butterhoff on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Schwalbe player was B. Abrantes. On the other hand, T. Simov's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 6.
