7 minutes in, the referee awarded Apice a penalty. M. Pimpo coolly slotted it home for a 1 - 0 lead. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. L. Staffico squirmed through their central defence after 22 minutes, increasing the lead to 2 - 0. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Apice's M. Lomazzo increasing the lead to 3 - 0. M. Lomazzo's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert M. Brutti was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for Apice. 4 - 0. Cheers filled the stadium as B. Felicioni broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 5 - 0 to Apice. After 33 minutes, Apice sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached M. Brutti, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 6 - 0. After this, you could see that the players of Apice were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. The teams went for the halftime break at 6 - 0. Apice enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.

M. Valacchi unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. Lùmbard had no available replacements when A. Monaldi had to leave the game after 62 minutes because of a pulled tendon, leaving the team a man short. The sunny day didn't make things easy for B. Felicioni who didn't seem his usual powerful self on the pitch. 66 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as M. Brutti broke through, making the score 7 - 0 for Apice. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for M. Brutti. A great save by keeper M. Castiglioni after 78 minutes kept the visitors in the game after E. Pani struck from the left with a real cannonball. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, M. Pimpo got himself booked. The manager of Apice was not happy. 81 minutes in, L. Parrella made an incredible run up the middle and nearly reduced the home side's lead, but P. Signorini refused to let the ball slip by him. Apice's M. Valacchi saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 82 minutes. 83 minutes in, Lùmbard's F. Leriche received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Apice, with 64 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Apice player was without a doubt M. Valacchi. B. Felicioni on the other hand, had a terrible day. Lùmbard's top performer was clearly V. Lenzi. However, O. Pettenello made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 7 - 0.
