Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 25 minutes into the match left Hard's L. Albano completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors. G. Costa Serra received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 37 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The Hard fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. It was 0 - 2 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to F.C.Marante, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

A review of the gameplan helped F.C.Marante get back to a passable organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. S. Afonso of Hard took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 71 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 3. Confident in their lead, Hard's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 80 minutes into the game, F.C.Marante had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate. F.C.Marante enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

F.C.Marante's top performer was clearly T. Åhskär. On the other hand, S. Ega's play was disheartening. J. Pacheco Gomes performed admirably for Hard. However, A. Quintaneiro made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 3.
