The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 4144 had shown up at TITLEIST STADIUM for the match. Cláudião Guedes was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Alberto Lazaro and Edward Blicharz. A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Gribouille. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, P. Kudrycki scored for Gribouille putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 10 minutes. Gribouille solidified their lead at the 17 minute mark, as P. Kudrycki dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0. After 21 minutes, B. Palzer sent the corner kick right to C. Schneidmühle who headed it sharply past the keeper. 2 - 1! Cheers filled the stadium as P. Kudrycki broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 1 to Gribouille. This third goal completed a hattrick for P. Kudrycki. A. Baetzold had a couple of good opportunities to reply, but the home team's keeper T. Reitan was simply unbeatable. 3 - 1 was the halftime score. KAAMOS FC claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 53 percent.

The bench was restless, and with 60 minutes passed KAAMOS FC's coach gave P. Ratzinger the opportunity the player had been hoping for. B. Plaß reluctantly left the field. N. Va'aknin should probably have put his team up another goal after 78 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by J. Couteau kept the visitors in the game. KAAMOS FC's A. Baetzold got himself booked for a foul. The home side's P. Puente came close to extending the lead 80 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but J. Couteau managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Gribouille to 4 - 1 as P. Puente finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, KAAMOS FC's A. Verkuijl was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 87 minutes. P. Pagueguy was given a chance to change things around. KAAMOS FC enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.

Gribouille's best player was S. Petiot. T. Reitan turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating KAAMOS FC player was without a doubt E. Cao. S. Toprak was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
