Clear skies welcomed the 799 spectators who had made their way to PSV Ferno Arena. Alejandro Coronado was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Fridrich Leesi and Matúš Vikuk. Retamozo took his place. 2 minutes into the game, Warriors wanted to bring some new energy to their game. E. Scagliarini gave M. Brás a quick hug as he left the field. They were singing the praises of M. Arcuri 9 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Ferno. The score became 2 - 0 at 27 minutes into the game, when Ferno were given a penalty which M. Arcuri blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! The players of Ferno now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. 36 minutes in, Ferno appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only poor. M. Arcuri should probably have put his team up another goal after 39 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by F. Rendini kept the visitors in the game. Ferno put themselves up 3 - 0 when M. Arcuri broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. At that, M. Arcuri was noted down for a hat trick! F. Daloiso's lack of experience almost gave Ferno a goal after 44 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Ferno, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

During the break, Ferno's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to passable organisation. After 67 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and M. Ćirić gave the Ferno supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 0. 68 minutes into the game, Ferno had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to passable. 71 minutes into the game, Ferno seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a inadequate level of organisation. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. A. Secci squirmed through their central defence after 75 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 0. With 76 minutes played, Ferno's N. Delcourt almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. M. Arcuri almost put Ferno ahead another goal when he curled a free kick over the defensive wall and almost into the net, but the visitors' keeper got there just in time to knock it wide. After 88 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by A. Secci might have resulted in another goal for Ferno. However, F. Rendini made a spectacular save. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Ferno, with 59 percent of the ball.

Ferno's best player was N. Delcourt. However, T. Sundell made a disastrous appearance. Most important Warriors player was F. Campolunghi. F. Rendini turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 5 - 0.
