Aulnay 2 - 4 Zehoga
(393630738)

01-08-2012 15.20
Due to an all-day shower, 1893 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at
le Velodrome.
Andre Dör was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Ewold Anema and
Rudolph Iwan Eilts.
A 5-3-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Aulnay.
Starters: Vérot - Sannier, Miton, Kasserini, Boyer, Gérin - Ramon, Yaseen, El Hadden - Justsen, Valea.
Zehoga started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
Lineup: Soares - Hakanen, Szulczyński, Heimset - Fatkin, Pedersen, Snedker, Haastrup, Pencak - Abu-Hasan, Dyg.
It was an obvious ambition of Zehoga to use their ability at attacking on the flanks.
The terraces were silenced after 25 minutes when Zehoga's
K. Dyg put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right.
28 minutes into the game, Aulnay had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to
solid.
29 minutes into the match, Aulnay's
D. Sannier maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 1 - 1.
Zehoga's
T. Snedker left the field after 31 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was
K. Holm.
32 minutes into the game,
J. Hakanen was a hair's breadth away from giving Zehoga the lead with a shot from over on the left. A prompt block by
P. Vérot saved the home team that time.
K. Holm spent most of the time in a heap on the ground today, his normally rapid movement hindered by the slippery pitch.
Halftime score was 1 - 1.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Zehoga, with 60 percent of the ball.
A review of the gameplan helped Aulnay get back to a
excellent organisation when the referee blew his whistle again.
P. Vérot looked great 47 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors'
K. Dyg.
The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Zehoga's
N. Haastrup after 67 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 1 - 2 lead.
After 73 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed
A. Pencak to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 1 - 3.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Zehoga lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
75 minutes into the game Aulnay broke through on the left wing and
D. Sannier managed to reduce the lead to 2 - 3.
Zehoga had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead.
With 80 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
E. Fatkin of Zehoga to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 2 - 4.
Zehoga enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 63 percent of possession.
Aulnay's best player was
G. Valea.
P. Vérot turned in a dismal performance, however.
Zehoga's top performer was clearly
E. Fatkin.
J. Hakanen was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 2 - 4.
