The 3321 fans in attendance at Skorpios Giant were roasting in the hot sun. Pablo Ascoeta was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Klausdieter Schanda and Aloys De Koker. B. Friaglia's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. Skorpios took the lead 4 minutes in, as A. Kütt broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Skorpios's B. Friaglia increasing the lead to 2 - 0. Confident in their lead, Skorpios's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Y. Bangun sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from K. Kaminaga after 20 minutes of play, making the score 3 - 0. Skorpios solidified their lead at the 26 minute mark, as S. Kanstrup dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 0. 38 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as L. Morello broke through, making the score 5 - 0 for Skorpios. B. Guzowski had a fantastic opportunity to put Skorpios up another goal 40 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. The teams went for the halftime break at 5 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Skorpios, who controlled the ball 82 percent of the time.

The coach of Skorpios was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes, L. Dellasantina came on for A. Kütt. B. Guzowski wanted to play on, but the Skorpios coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by P. Gruszka. A free kick just outside of the visitors' penalty area after 53 minutes could have resulted in another goal, but N. Kuprić got a hand out and tipped the ball over the bar. After 64 minutes Skorpios's P. Gruszka limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. V. Golaydo of AW FC received a yellow card after 74 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Skorpios to 6 - 0 as H. Fleet finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. After 77 minutes, Skorpios's K. Kaminaga found the back of the goal with a beautiful free kick. 7 - 0. The score became 8 - 0 at 82 minutes into the game, when Skorpios were given a penalty which K. Kaminaga blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! With 83 minutes played, Y. Bangun of Skorpios fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. K. Kaminaga struck a 30 metre free kick home 85 minutes into the match. 9 - 0 for the home team. This third goal completed a hattrick for K. Kaminaga. After 88 minutes AW FC's 楚. 宝昉 (Baofang) contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. The Skorpios players could smell victory in the air. L. Morello wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for P. Gandolfo after 89 minutes. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, P. Gandolfo took over the role of being the Skorpios captain. Skorpios claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 83 percent.

The most dominating Skorpios player was without a doubt B. Friaglia. On the other hand, P. Gandolfo's play was disheartening. AW FC's best player was J. van de Braak. However, G. Fábreges made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 9 - 0.
