(393637712)

01-08-2012 10.45
The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 3460 had shown up at
GALAXY-Center for the match.
Jelko Deyne was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Blake Trent and
Fernando Pinto.
Kradolf decided to use a 3-4-3 set up.
They fielded: Martinsson - Seeger, Tani, Dulabone - Aguirre, Dettweiler, Trittibach, Mues - Pittesser, Macron, Gilardi.
Valencia tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination.
The following players took the field: Brotzmann - Kilpatrick, Löfman, Aquino, Goff - Delgado, Wilson, Brković, Sheppard, Dewey - Fasselli.
Kradolf's
J. Aguirre was shown a yellow card after 19 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
In a fantastic display of determination, Valencia's
M. Delgado forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down.
This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when
D. Sheppard slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against
H. Martinsson, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes.
Valencia had to make a substitution after 33 minutes.
M. Delgado limped off the field and was replaced by
G. Massaccesi.
0 - 0 was the halftime score.
Valencia claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 67 percent.
J. Seeger received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 54 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score.
The visiting
G. Massaccesi was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 64 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score.
The referee signalled a penalty 71 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box.
D. Brković knocked it home to make the score 0 - 2.
Possession in this half belonged to Valencia, who controlled the ball 71 percent of the time.
L. Gilardi performed admirably for Kradolf.
On the other hand,
S. Dulabone's play was disheartening.
Valencia's best player was
S. Aquino.
However,
G. Massaccesi made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 0 - 2.
