A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 2610 to Taipei Dome. Jonas Ballis was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Sławomir Dargiewicz and Arwin van Zeeland. Xanthic started off with a 4-5-1 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Pap - Koralp, 曉平 (Xiaoping), 順靖 (Shunjing), 宇才 (Yucai) - Cian, 爾江 (Erjiang), 暉善 (Huishan), Carotti, König - 南 (Nan).

A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Campeonas. They fielded: Bellotti - Katsikopodaropoulos, Stenerseter, Van der Donckt - Alecu, Castillo, Holtenblad, Krzysztoporski, Carmona - Steffelbauer, Dijkstra.

Always quick on his feet, Campeonas's A. Dijkstra sped down the field after 5 minutes, but his pass to J. Steffelbauer was just a bit too far ahead for him to get a good shot off. Some great play up the middle by Xanthic led to a chance for 王. 順靖 (Shunjing) to score after 32 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. The guests almost went up by a goal after 42 minutes when A. Dijkstra came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though. At 43 minutes played, A. Cian came in from the right with the intention of giving Xanthic the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. Halftime score was 0 - 0. Campeonas had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.

After 54 minutes, Campeonas sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached J. Steffelbauer, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 0 - 1. 王. 順靖 (Shunjing) of Xanthic received a yellow card after 66 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Campeonas's M. Alecu made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 71 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. The fierce heat made it important to save breath, and after a few swift runs G. Krzysztoporski found it hard to get back into position. F. Carmona of Campeonas took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 78 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.

Xanthic's top performer was clearly 譚. 南 (Nan). 傅. 曉平 (Xiaoping) was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Campeonas player was without a doubt F. Carmona. A. Katsikopodaropoulos on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 2.
