It had rained all day, but 1443 hardy fans still made it out to Arena of Fryna. Juan Cusihuamán was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Filip Dorrepaal and Dion Havlykke. It was an obvious ambition of Fryna to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of FC.Ruda. The game was characterised by rough play and many physical challenges on the wet field, but P. Stensson showed great heart and had a good game. This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when G. Łozicki slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against Y. Dukshtein, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. Attacking on the wings was the choice for Fryna, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack. Fryna made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left R. van der Brom completely alone with keeper J. Sankoh, who made a spectacular block. The bench was restless, and with 46 minutes passed Fryna's coach gave W. Moscoso the opportunity the player had been hoping for. P. Stensson reluctantly left the field. With 50 minutes played, J. Peyerl nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. 51 minutes in, Fryna's R. van der Brom received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Confident in their lead, FC.Ruda's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. FC.Ruda claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.

Fryna's top performer was clearly R. van der Brom. On the other hand, I. Jensen's play was disheartening. FC.Ruda's best player was M. Concutelli. However, G. Łozicki made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 3.
