ie_team decided to play creatively. Making his way up the middle 28 minutes into the match, J. Lefort almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert A. Botez blocked it to keep the score level. 35 minutes in, Caxias appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. 36 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for Caxias to take the lead after a good cross from the right found M. Acuña alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. At 37 minutes played, G. Videira came in from the right with the intention of giving Caxias the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. ie_team's B. Mały got himself booked for a foul. J. Neves was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Caxias's E. Nachtweide had to come off the bench. 0 - 0 was the score after the first half. Caxias claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.

During the break, Caxias's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid organisation. ie_team's N. Grudkin had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 54 minutes having been played. O. Zeh was the replacement. The ie_team captaincy was handed to O. Zeh. This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when S. Fjällkvist slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against Ş. Abrudan, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. 75 minutes into the game, Caxias seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a inadequate level of organisation. After 84 minutes, ie_team's P. Utelli made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. ie_team's J. Gonzalo Matas left the field after 86 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was B. De Vecchi. J. Dolski received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 87 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The ie_team fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. ie_team had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

The most dominating Caxias player was without a doubt E. Nachtweide. M. Acuña was a disappointment, however. Most important ie_team player was O. Zeh. However, P. Utelli made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 2.
