previous 10/10 next 2/10  ERANDIO 3 - 9 Häsch (393655213)

A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 3599 to Ategorri Berria. Marjan Maras was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Lucjan Niekowiecki and Andre Benesch. ERANDIO started off with a 2-5-3 lineup. Starters: Leturiaga - Draper, Ibañez Irarrazábal - Estades, Uriona, Jaszczyszyn, García de Coaña, Cascasona - Núñez Polo, Rivas Calero, Lavardin.

Häsch decided to use a 3-4-3 set up. The following players took the field: Rizzi - Würzer, Norgren, Nicolas - Pancrazi, Morr, Mimica, Le Page - Kuther, Ricour, Ronsse.

ERANDIO decided to play creatively. Some things can only be learned through experience, and M. Morr should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting ERANDIO a goal with 20 minutes of the match played. With 21 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. K. Norgren put the ball away for 0 - 1. There was concern in the stands when, at the 23 minute mark, Häsch's H. Würzer hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. With the clock showing 24 minutes played, J. Jaszczyszyn equalised for ERANDIO after curling a free kick around the defensive wall to make the score 1 - 1. Häsch took the lead after 26 minutes making the score 1 - 2. G. Ronsse placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. J. Nicolas of Häsch took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 32 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 1 - 3. ERANDIO refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle, G. Núñez Polo managed to slip the ball home for 2 - 3. After 38 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave M. Pancrazi a chance to increase the lead for Häsch, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 2 - 4. The home crowd was not impressed when M. Morr came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 40 minutes. Häsch were now up 2 - 5. It was 2 - 5 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Häsch, with 57 percent of the ball.

ERANDIO's G. Cascasona was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - L. Estades managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 3 - 5 after 50 minutes. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave G. Ronsse from Häsch a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 53 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! The visitors' O. Kuther took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 68 minutes into the match. 3 - 6 for Häsch. Confident in their lead, Häsch's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. G. Ronsse received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 69 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 3 - 7. The Häsch fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Häsch's J. Nicolas was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 70 minutes. C. Rivas Calero of ERANDIO was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. 76 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 3 - 8 as J. Nicolas finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. 83 minutes in, ERANDIO's P. Ibañez Irarrazábal received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. After 84 minutes, Häsch's S. Le Page burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 3 - 9. G. Draper of ERANDIO received a yellow card after 87 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Possession in this half belonged to Häsch, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.

The most dominating ERANDIO player was without a doubt C. Rivas Calero. J. Jaszczyszyn on the other hand, had a terrible day. F. Mimica performed admirably for Häsch. M. Morr was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 9.
