The crowd of 3024 turning up at Galus Team Arena today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Saro De Fazio was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ildefons Durkiewicz and Fabien Hourcade. Galus started off with a 2-5-3 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Zdebski - Kormiltsev, Klamrowski - Pawlus, Paeshuys, Trumiński, Rżysko, Bujnowicz - Skowerski, Gabryelski, Popiel.

EPO@fuentes had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players took the field: De Bonis - Markovic, Cólman, Glassner - Limpido, Sandkvist, Avila, Hus, Cardinaels - Dahlgrén, Manzano.

After 19 minutes, P. Popiel came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Galus the lead. 31 minutes into the game, L. Manzano had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came C. Mcmullen. M. Dahlgrén became the new EPO@fuentes captain. Galus increased the lead as G. Trumiński struck to make the score 2 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. W. Skowerski of Galus was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. J. Hus did not have a good day today, often losing his footing on the muddy pitch. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Galus's O. Gabryelski increasing the lead to 3 - 0. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Galus, with 62 percent of the ball.

The away team improved the scoreline to 3 - 1, as M. Sandkvist struck home, set up well by a play on the left 55 minutes into the match. EPO@fuentes's J. Cardinaels was shown a yellow card after 68 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Galus managed to extend their lead to 4 - 1 when G. Trumiński cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. Cheers filled the stadium as O. Gabryelski broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 5 - 1 to Galus. After this, you could see that the players of Galus were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Thighs bulging, P. Popiel charged past the weaker players, seemingly oblivious to the rain. With 82 minutes played, Galus put themselves up 6 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to J. Pawlus, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. After 84 minutes, G. Trumiński put Galus ahead 7 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. This third goal completed a hattrick for G. Trumiński. Galus had most of the ball, with 64 percent of possession.

Galus's top performer was clearly O. Gabryelski. R. Zdebski turned in a dismal performance, however. C. Mcmullen performed admirably for EPO@fuentes. M. Dahlgrén was a disappointment, however. The match ends 7 - 1.
