Kampmann came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Glottertal the lead. B. Achterdör could have increased the lead after 30 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. 34 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as J. Kampmann broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for Glottertal. Glottertal's E. van Mierlo got himself booked for a foul. 2 - 0 was the score after the first half. Glottertal enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 79 percent of possession.

Glottertal's J. Kampmann had an excellent opportunity after 51 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! M. Roa Maza enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again. B. Achterdör should probably have put his team up another goal after 54 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by R. Ballet kept the visitors in the game. Glottertal put themselves up 3 - 0 when A. Bettini broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. After 69 minutes Glottertal's A. Bettini limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. 76 minutes in, Runggaldier's N. Ribière received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. H. Ukenigge wasn't much help defensively. His energy-consuming forward runs proved quite costly in the oppressive heat. Possession in this half belonged to Glottertal, who controlled the ball 77 percent of the time.

The most dominating Glottertal player was without a doubt M. Roa Maza. H. Ukenigge turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Runggaldier player was I. Gallaga. However, N. Ribière made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 0.
