(393668646)

31-07-2012 20.05
144 spectators had found their way to
Fofa Trafford, despite the heavy rain.
Viggo Joha was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Dean Bronson and
Ervín Sobotka.
Fofa tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Ferwanger - Carreño, Stępnik, Cusimano, Rigollet - Ribera Murcia, Ellingsen, Gyosharkov, Jovanovic - Helenius, Mihaylov.
P0tsi had chosen a strategic 5-5-0 formation.
The following players took the field: Kontuniemi - Mikkainen, Polderman, Capitani, Stroiescu, Johansson - Bacquet, Gustavsson, Blok, Pimiskern, Cristea -.
Fofa tried to focus their attacks down the middle.
After 31 minutes Fofa's
B. Carreño contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game.
35 minutes in, Fofa appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
passable.
P0tsi's
N. Gustavsson got himself booked for a foul.
C. Ribera Murcia of Fofa had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game.
M. Pimiä came in to finish the match.
Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 39 minutes into the match left P0tsi's
A. Johansson completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors.
Fofa made it 1 - 1 as
V. Mihaylov got a touch to the floated corner kick and flicked the ball to
J. Helenius who whipped a low drive in off the far post.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
V. Mikkainen from P0tsi a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 43 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
Fofa's
L. Ferwanger went down after a savage challenge, but could continue playing after some medical attention.
1 - 1 was the score after the first half.
P0tsi claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.
The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that Fofa had
solid organisation.
P0tsi's goal to make the score 1 - 2 came via a questionable penalty, but
A. Blok struck it home without a second thought.
With the crowd on their feet chanting wildly, some great moves down the right hand side after 68 minutes gave Fofa a wonderful opportunity to level the score, and
R. Jovanovic stepped up to the challenge. 2 - 2
69 minutes into the game, Fofa had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to
solid.
81 minutes into the game, Fofa seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to
passable.
I. Gyosharkov behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 86 minutes as he gave the ball away to
D. Pimiskern. Lucky for him though, there was no goal.
With 89 minutes played
M. Pimiä almost gave the home side the lead with an unexpected free kick set up, but the visitors'
S. Kontuniemi was onto it, grabbing the would be breakthrough ball.
This part of the game was a standoff between the teams in terms of possession.
Fofa's best player was
J. Helenius.
However,
E. Cusimano made a disastrous appearance.
N. Gustavsson performed admirably for P0tsi.
S. Kontuniemi was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 2 - 2.
