Kubánek alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. E. Boari on the right after 62 minutes, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. The guests almost went up by a goal after 76 minutes when C. Sarcinella came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though. After 82 minutes Pardubice's G. Batty contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. Usually a powerful player on the field, J. Kubánek looked kind of pale and tired under the hot sun. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 85 minutes into the match left Nonno's E. Sacchetti completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors. The referee showed Pardubice's P. Hornát the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Pardubice were close to equalising with a spectacular free kick by V. Svoboda after 89 minutes, but D.
