(393685983)

01-08-2012 22.50
The 622 spectators at
Riazort Stadium were in for an afternoon of sunshine.
Elias Pitkänen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Eddie Almmar and
Marcin Sztenkiel.
DepoRtivo had chosen a strategic 2-5-3 formation.
Lineup: Vúlchev - Sepúlveda, Ibáñez - Pechini, Cote, Goroneta, Soto, Galeno - Flores, Franco, Monje.
Dobr tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination.
Starters: Koloničný - Kuřátko, Tyl, Sedláček - Korbel, Kalous, Jurík, Šklíba - Krajíc, Rybák, Šarman.
After 24 minutes of play,
E. Ibáñez gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right.
DepoRtivo were given a gift! The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 26 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by
J. Sepúlveda. 2 - 0 for the home side.
After 27 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
B. Pechini might have resulted in another goal for DepoRtivo. However,
A. Koloničný made a spectacular save.
The away team improved the scoreline to 2 - 1, as
H. Kalous struck home, set up well by a play on the left 37 minutes into the match.
Against a lesser team, DepoRtivo could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 40 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save.
The crowd was silenced 42 minutes into the match as the visiting team's
F. Jurík came in from the left, levelling the score to 2 - 2.
It was 2 - 2 at the break.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by DepoRtivo, with 56 percent of the ball.
After 68 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as DepoRtivo found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to
solid.
Some things can only be learned through experience, and
E. Sedláček should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting DepoRtivo a goal with 77 minutes of the match played.
Dobr's
V. Rybák gave the visitors a 2 - 3 lead after 82 minutes with a superb strike from the right.
Some fine movement on the left led to a Dobr goal after 86 minutes, making it 2 - 4.
J. Krajíc was noted down as the scorer.
With 88 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
E. Sedláček of Dobr to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 2 - 5.
Dobr's
J. Krajíc left the field after 88 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was
J. Cadorel.
DepoRtivo had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.
N. Soto performed admirably for DepoRtivo.
I. Vúlchev on the other hand, had a terrible day.
Most important Dobr player was
J. Cadorel.
However,
E. Sedláček made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 2 - 5.
