Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 1385 at Camp Ismo today. Tuppura mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. The visiting G. Martina was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 4 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score. The referee showed Tuppura's G. Martina the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The crowd gasped as N. Keskivinkka of parhaat was flattened by an opponent after 23 minutes and had to be carried off. G. Griffa came in off the bench. After 24 minutes, Tuppura's G. Martina burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. parhaat's J. Järvimäki had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 28 minutes having been played. T. Lebreton was the replacement. After 32 minutes of game time, J. Urolainen had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but M. Kakkinen was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. M. Borg received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 34 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 3. The Tuppura fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. 0 - 3 was the score after the first half. Tuppura enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

The home crowd was not impressed when M. Borg came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 59 minutes. Tuppura were now up 0 - 4. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Tuppura coach let A. Baysel replace P. Arizmendi López after 60 minutes. H. Poikajärvi wanted to play on, but the Tuppura coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 70 minutes into the game by P. Pakarinen. J. Urolainen left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 70 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. T. Starck was the replacement. After 76 minutes T. Lebreton could have reduced the lead with a blistering strike from the left wing, had it not been for an excellent block by the visitors' keeper. The Tuppura free kick 80 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? Confident in their lead, Tuppura's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 81 minutes in, Tuppura's R. de Haard received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Tuppura were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. After 83 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave A. Baysel a chance to increase the lead for Tuppura, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 6. An indecisive keeper looked on as a free kick by Tuppura's D.
