Bryant made an attempt at equalising 21 minutes into the match, coming in from the right, but the ball hit the post and the defence easily cleared the rebound. After 31 minutes, D. Orwell made a dash down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the goal that made it 1 - 1. Spartak took the lead after 39 minutes as a result of R. Mattox's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 2 - 1. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to Spartak, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

Spartak solidified their lead at the 51 minute mark, as T. Whelan dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 3 - 1. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Spartak's S. Allanock increasing the lead to 4 - 1. The cannonball from 35 metres by S. Mattox should probably have put his team up another goal after 75 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by F. Ejlersen kept the visitors in the game. Spartak enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.

The most dominating Spartak player was without a doubt T. Whelan. However, L. Dorman made a disastrous appearance. Bowlerne's best player was T. Sử. R. Kammer on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 1.
