2630 spectators had found their way to Brageborgen IP, despite the heavy rain. Dick Munn-Giddings was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Simon Gunzelmann and Sahil Chaudhari. S. Delanoy was having a great game - if anything the pouring rain seemed to be spurring him on! K. Rahmby was called on to replace Brage's P. Schafrath after 22 minutes following a nasty collision. Gutidog took the lead 29 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. E. Nesher was the scorer. The visitors' K. Krzywoń took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 35 minutes into the match. 0 - 2 for Gutidog. B. Couch was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace. Gutidog increased their lead after 41 minutes when D. Dumesnil broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. M. Henriksson tried to get a goal back for Brage but despite all his hard work down the right, he just couldn't complete the move. E. Bouma of Gutidog took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 43 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 4. Brage's J. Gregg got himself booked for a foul. 0 - 4 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Gutidog, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

With 62 minutes played, the Brage coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. L. Larsson came on, S. Bolufer had to leave the fray. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, L. Larsson took over the role of being the Brage captain. The bench was restless, and with 67 minutes passed Brage's coach gave D. Robinsson the opportunity the player had been hoping for. L. Vázquez reluctantly left the field. The home crowd was not impressed when S. Delanoy came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 70 minutes. Gutidog were now up 0 - 5. Brage's D. Robinsson managed a superb strike from the left after 73 minutes that would have left goalkeeper S. Guillard without a chance, had it not hit the post. A penalty kick was awarded to Brage 79 minutes into the match, and U. Flaming expertly put it away. 1 - 5. Gutidog claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

Brage's best player was M. Henriksson. K. Rahmby was a disappointment, however. Gutidog's top performer was clearly A. Negrón. S. Guillard on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 5.
