S. Veld did not have a good day today, often losing his footing on the muddy pitch. With 55 minutes played, P. Perrenoud nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. N. Pirruccio of CFK received a yellow card after 59 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. V. Finnbjörnsson was having a great game - if anything the pouring rain seemed to be spurring him on! Gialloblues's G. Cappello almost tied things up with 68 minutes played after breaking through on the right, but his shot deflected off the post. F. Maestra was just a finger's breadth away from an equaliser for Gialloblues with a strike from the left, but E. Ravanello managed to ward the shot off for a corner. The visitors' N. Pirruccio took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 75 minutes into the match. 1 - 3 for CFK. The players of CFK now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Gialloblues had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

Gialloblues's best player was T. Dahlstrøm. G. Cappello turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important CFK player was C. Kappes. On the other hand, N. Pirruccio's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 3.
