Dark skies made the crowd of 1183 at FC Michaell Zone a little nervous, but the rain held off. Walter Müller was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Médéric Boisard and Samuel Felix Bertinski. Michaell had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Ashe of Michaell had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. M. Pistone came in to finish the match. Brackx the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The player down was K. Vačkář. The Náchod bench looked worried for a while, but in the end he managed to get up. The visitors' B. Nettelbeck took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 76 minutes into the match. 0 - 4 for Náchod. The home side worked hard to get through the middle and as a result, had a good chance of getting one back as E. Wippel tried lifting the ball over keeper K. Vačkář. Unfortunately, the ball went just over the bar. Possession in this half belonged to Michaell, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.
