The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Chorzow, the score now 2 - 2. Halftime score was 2 - 2. Chorzow claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

A lovely run by Rock's M. Galinden left his markers for dead and should have resulted in a goal, but the finish went just wide. Many thought S. Cortez ought to have been awarded a penalty 58 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around J. Vinatzer after a determined run through the middle. 73 minutes into the match and the home team took a 3 - 2 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Chorzow was S. Cortez. Chorzow put in a good effort on the right, but L. Carretti saw his volley fly wide of the mark 83 minutes into the game. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Chorzow, with 61 percent of the ball.

O. Muukkonen performed admirably for Chorzow. On the other hand, O. Martin's play was disheartening. The most dominating Rock player was without a doubt L. De Vree. C. Decu was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 2.
