Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 62265 to Dark Arena. Jan Lojka was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Larry Gilliam and Lucius Schonhart. Shooter had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Starters: Jarůšek - Puissant, Kohn, Saja - Vocílka, Tomíšek, Bárta, Javorek, Louvar - Plech, Söderblom.

Kosi started off with a 5-2-3 lineup. The following players took the field: Calbini - Li Calzi, Middenmeer, Pisoni, Schafer, Przysiecki - Vukov, van Wezep - Zaalberg, Dell'Orto, Hlína.

Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Kosi. 13 minutes in, Kosi appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. After 14 minutes, H. van Wezep sprinted between the opposing defenders and squared the ball, but the keeper deflected F. Zaalberg's shot. Many thought D. Plech ought to have been awarded a penalty 19 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around G. Calbini after a determined run through the middle. A counterattack by Kosi after 20 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but E. Pisoni, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. Some great play up the middle by Shooter led to a chance for T. Söderblom to score after 21 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. A foul called during a Kosi counterattack resulted in a great chance to score, but S. Schafer's shot rattled off the post. After 38 minutes, the defensive line of Kosi created a counterattack through the middle that gave F. Zaalberg a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, S. Schafer got himself booked. The manager of Kosi was not happy. After 40 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Kosi found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to poor. It was 0 - 0 at the break. Shooter claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 87 percent.

The Kosi players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a passable organisation when the game started again. As the 46 minute mark approached, the Shooter coach decided it was time for a substitution. T. Söderblom reluctantly made way for S. Banjak on the pitch. After 50 minutes, the home side was awarded a penalty. The visitors protested wildly but the referee was adamant. O. Saja easily put the ball away to give the lead to Shooter. 1 - 0 Content with how the game was proceeding, the Shooter coach let L. Hrachovina replace P. Louvar after 55 minutes. Coming from the right, M. Kohn almost managed to score another goal for Shooter, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. After 57 minutes Kosi tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, F. Zaalberg's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. D. Plech left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 64 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. N. MacCrivag was the replacement. The Shooter captaincy was handed to R. Bárta. 69 minutes into the game, Kosi seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to inadequate. M. Puissant increased the lead for Shooter to 2 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! The players of Shooter now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Shooter, with 90 percent of the ball.

Most important Shooter player was J. Jarůšek. On the other hand, L. Hrachovina's play was disheartening. F. Zaalberg performed admirably for Kosi. However, G. Calbini made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 0.
