Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Darkside Arena saw a crowd turnout of 1425. Fabian Bagniewski was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Bernhard Wingert and Chris Cahill. Darkside decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. Darkside had a chance to take the lead after T. Kenny's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 18 minutes. After 19 minutes, Teranis's L. Breacker fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! Darkside were very close to putting themselves one up after 25 minutes as T. Kenny got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. Darkside created a good opportunity to score 31 minutes into the match when V. Kharchik's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. 0 - 0 was the score after the first half. Darkside enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.

The visitors could have taken the lead from a free kick after 80 minutes, if it wasn't for the jaw-dropping save by S. Pezzuti. Slack defending gave Darkside a chance to take the lead with 84 minutes played, but R. Rechberger's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition. Teranis's goal to make the score 0 - 1 came via a questionable penalty, but G. Marradi struck it home without a second thought. Darkside's R. Rechberger was shown a yellow card after 88 minutes for slicing down an opponent. A loud groan was heard from the fans of Teranis, as E. Kilani left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. M. Kutschera took his place on the field. After 89 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave J. Rebello a chance to increase the lead for Teranis, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to Teranis, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

R. Rechberger performed admirably for Darkside. S. Pezzuti was a disappointment, however. Teranis's top performer was clearly G. Marradi. J. Sáez Gutiérrez on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 2.
