(393807903)

07-08-2012 19.20
Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 2007 at
Samp Arena today.
Pontus Silfwerling was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Dennie Zwaagstra and
Pantaleo Di Piero.
Real had chosen a strategic 5-4-1 formation.
They fielded: Louco - Locquet, Di Bartolo, Žižlavský, Monserrat, Bühler - van der Lubbe, Moser, Galian, Zapata - Wangermez.
A 5-2-3 alignment was the formation of choice for C.D..
The following players took the field: Dazne - Valda, Folkerts, Arismendi, Olmedo Puig, Moreno Ruiz - Iribarren, Bettinger - Ladent, López, Irazoqui.
Real were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks.
C.D. demonstrated their creative tactics on the field.
With 30 minutes played, Real's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to
E. Moser he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 1 - 0.
33 minutes into the game, Real seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to
passable.
With 34 minutes played,
R. Di Bartolo could have brought this one home for Real as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high.
35 minutes in, Real appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
inadequate.
O. Žižlavský of Real received a yellow card after 40 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
Real's
O. Žižlavský left the field after 41 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was
R. Velík.
1 - 0 was the halftime score.
Possession in this half belonged to Real, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.
A review of the gameplan helped Real get back to a
solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again.
Players in Real heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead.
E. Moser unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide.
Coming in from the right, C.D. had a good opportunity to convert on a counterattack after 51 minutes, but
M. Irazoqui's attempt to finish was easily stopped.
It might be a while before the fans see C.D.'s
G. Folkerts again, after he had to leave the field in great distress at the 75 minute mark. He was replaced by
D. Cabes.
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Real to 2 - 0 as
E. Moser finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle.
80 minutes into the game, Real seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a
wretched level of organisation.
83 minutes into the match, the speedy
M. Irazoqui easily outpaced
A. Monserrat, chipped the keeper and made the score 2 - 1.
Coming from the right,
A. Wangermez almost managed to score another goal for Real, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper.
Real had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.
Most important Real player was
R. Velík.
However,
R. Locquet made a disastrous appearance.
The most dominating C.D. player was without a doubt
M. Irazoqui.
M. Moreno Ruiz was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 2 - 1.
