It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 3916 that came out to Matric Arena. Jaime Ortega was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ilya van Spronsen and Peder Møller. Planá took the lead after 17 minutes as a result of C. Opseth's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0. Planá's S. Giacomini got himself booked for a foul. D. Bigatello was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Outbreakers's W. de Leest had to come off the bench. With 26 minutes played, Planá put themselves up 2 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to M. David, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. After 27 minutes, speedy S. Giacomini dashed past his marker, making plenty of room for the second wave of attack. However, W. Szulga failed to score. 28 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as C. Opseth broke through, making the score 3 - 0 for Planá. Planá increased the lead as M. David struck to make the score 4 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. It was 4 - 0 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Planá, with 77 percent of the ball.

Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Outbreakers's S. Spirov was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 46 minutes. W. Debroux was given a chance to change things around. T. Bussigel should probably have put his team up another goal after 47 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by B. Zhelyazov kept the visitors in the game. Planá's K. Podhora increased the lead to 5 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 67 minutes. After 69 minutes, T. Bussigel put Planá ahead 6 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. By now, the players in Planá felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Planá's K. Nordbo left the field after 70 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was J. Hanna. T. Bussigel could have increased the lead after 74 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Planá put themselves up 7 - 0 when S. Giacomini broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Possession in this half belonged to Planá, who controlled the ball 80 percent of the time.

Planá's top performer was clearly T. Bussigel. M. David was a disappointment, however. Outbreakers's best player was W. Debroux. B. Zhelyazov turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 7 - 0.
